Corporate Social Responsibility

Here at Accreditation Guru, corporate social responsibility (CSR) lies at the heart of who we are as a professional, service-oriented organization. We are committed to volunteering our professional services (including nonprofit governance expertise and guidance), offering financial support, and volunteering for fundraising and other sustaining events, to a variety of local nonprofit associations as a way of giving back to our communities and, most especially, lending a hand to those in need. We also encourage all our team members to give back and volunteer within their own communities.

Presently, our philanthropic activities include working with the following nonprofit organizations:

Westchester Companies for Kids (WC4K), a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Westchester Children’s Association (WCA). Founded in 1914, WCA is the leading independent voice for the youth of Westchester County, New York. The organization promotes policies and initiatives that improve the lives of children by collecting data to develop a consensus among the public, policymakers, and child services providers to help deliver what children most need to succeed. WC4K is a coalition of companies working together to ensure that every child in our area can reach his or her full potential.

The Northeast STEM Starter Academy (NSSA) at Mount Vernon, whose central mission is to introduce the marvels of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to underserved children through a cutting-edge informal educational center. Presently, NSSA works in partnership with public school leadership to ensure at-risk students have access to state-of-the-art science and technology resources and education to help prepare them for careers as teachers, scientists, computer technologists, doctors, and engineers.
