Jennifer Flowers has been involved in the administration of volunteer support programs throughout her career, working with both casual and professional volunteers. During her tenure as the Director of Volunteer Services and Accreditation Commission at Council on Accreditation (COA) she oversaw the support of 1,200 professional volunteers located across the United States and Canada. In addition to helping client organizations develop volunteer management strategies, Jennifer continues to be involved as an active member of both the Board of Directors for New York Association for Volunteer Administration (NYAVA) and the national Association of Leaders in Volunteer Engagement (AL!VE).

Annually she participates in the National Conference on NCVS and provides training courses on how to best recruit, train, engage and recognize volunteers. Most nonprofit agencies would not be able to survive without a dedicated alliance of volunteers. We must ensure that these volunteers are given what is necessary to succeed in order for them to be as effective and as appreciated as possible.
